Noah Zimmerman Founder & Head Coach
Noah Zimmerman has wanted to run his own gym since he was a teenager. What he didn't know yet was what it would look like, or how much of his own body he'd have to rebuild before he could build it for others.
Broken spine at 14. Subdural hematoma at 17. Ulcerative colitis at 22. Kienböck's disease at 30. Each time, a team of trainers, dietitians, and doctors helped him find his way back. Each time, he came back stronger.
That pattern — break, rebuild, carry more — became the foundation of everything Praxis is.
He received his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification in 2018, because he wanted to help people get into the best health and shape of their lives.
And over the next 8 years (combined with his injury history), Noah developed the Praxis Method. Showing clients how to put:

The Philosophy
When Kienböck's disease took his wrist at 30 — after he was already a trainer — his first instinct wasn't to stop.
A lot of people get injured and half-commit to PT. Their quality of life drops. Then they get injured again. There's always a path back. But you have to accept it's going to suck — because you won't be able to do what you used to right away. The movement will always be there when you're ready.
WHY praxis Exists
Post-COVID, the third spaces that kept people active disappeared. Adults got busy, had kids, took on responsibility — and fitness quietly became something they did to themselves instead of with other people. Praxis was built to change that. Not a gym where you suffer alone. A place where you get strong enough to actually do things.
The oldest and truest form of fitness is still the most effective: lift, sprint, jump. Not because it looks good on paper — because it's what makes your body actually useful in the real world. Praxis doesn't chase trends. It builds capacity.

What it looks like when it’s working
01
They do things they used to struggle with — easily. Without thinking about it.
02
They try things they never had the confidence to attempt. A pull-up. A heavier bar. A harder trail.
03
They wear what they want. They move differently. Other people notice before they do.
